Review of the polling districts and polling places in Cheltenham

Closed 4 Sep 2023

Opened 31 Jul 2023

Overview

In April 2023, The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) published its final recommendations for Cheltenham, new ward boundaries have been drawn up for Cheltenham Borough Council and these will take effect for the May 2024 elections. Given the need to ensure the new polling arrangements are in place ahead of the May 2024 elections, our review of polling districts and places needs to start now. Please read the Acting Returning Officer Comments to view any potential changes to your polling district or polling station.

On 31 July we published our Notice of Review and draft proposals report.

Electors in Cheltenham may make representations in response to the draft proposals. Any representations made should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as polling places.

By clicking on "online survey" you are confirming that:

  • You have read the privacy notice
  • You agree to take part
  • Anybody making representations should be aware that upon completion of the review, all correspondence and representations received will be published
