The annual Midsummer Fiesta in Montpellier began in 2010 and is the biggest free event in Cheltenham. The event celebrates Cheltenham’s communities and showcases local talent and is attended by local people from all over the borough.
The Midsummer Fiesta steering group is looking for bar providers for this year’s event on Saturday 15th July 2023 in Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham. We would like to supply a main bar, providing beer, lager, cider and wine, plus smaller, subsidiary bars offering something different.
There will also be up to 7 catering units and the Gardens Café on site and some of these will be providing soft and hot drinks.
Bar trading times: 12 – 8.30pm
Set up: From 8am on Saturday 15th July. Provision can be made for set up on Friday 14th July if required.
Vacate site by: 10.30pm
Power: Please confirm if you require power.
Insurance: £5 Million Public Liability Insurance required
Water: Access to water is provided for the main bar.
Documentation required: Public liability insurance; food and hygiene certificates; risk assessment
Litter: Hirers are required to clean and tidy the pitch during and after the event.
Recycling: The council has a responsibility to recycle. Please could you explain how you intend to recycle and remove all your waste after the event.
Pitch fee:
£1100 for the main bar
£350 each for subsidiary bars
