Overview

The Climate Emergency Staff Group was set up to provide a focus for staff action in response to the Councils declaration of a climate emergency, and its commitment to be a carbon neutral town by 2030.

It was envisioned that this be a friendly grouping of staff who are passionate about limiting (and potentially even reversing) the damaging effects of man-made climate change, both in a personal and Borough Council sense.

Why your views matter

The group’s goal is yet to be fully defined. However it is hoped that the group will inspire awareness of the topic, help to create an inclusive discourse and highlight and discuss the concerns of staff; supporting them in their aspirations relating to climate change awareness and actions.

To help ensure that the group is of benefit, and interest, to those who attend we appreciate you taking part in this survey.

What happens next

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey, we really appreciate your views.

We hope to feed the results back to the current members of the Climate emergency staff group at the next meeting on the 15th February (please contact Louise Forey if you would like an invite). We will also share feedback on the intranet after this meeting.
